Anita Barone

Barone performed the role of Gail Cunningham in The Shoes in Seinfeld season four. She was a chef who was named Elaine Benes who wanted shoes. In the early 1990s she was a regular member on Carol & Company with actress Carol Burnett. Barone performed the role of the ex-wife of Carol Willick Ross Geller in the initial Friends appearance. Jane Sibbett took over her part after Barone quit the show in order to concentrate on full-time work. Barone was a part of The Jeff Foxworthy Show for the initial season (1995-1996) as well as on The War at Home between 2005 until 2007. Barone costarred as a co-star in Daddio (2000). Matthew Glave played J.J. Jones, the former husband of the character played by Barone in two episodes.
